Description

The Sioux vases are the symbol of the Totem pole; the element raised for big celebrations of the tribes, around which the tribe people used to sing and dance with drums. It was a symbol passed from one generation to another by the tribal chieftains. The design of the crystal changes on each element continuously along its height; each design represents the motifs of the tepees and clothes that were made of deer of buffalo leather skin, stitched together with coloured laces. Laces, used to join the crystal vases, are made of pure Vacchetta leather, the softest and finest quality leather. Such strings are used also on water proof shoes and leather fashion garment; thanks to their strong performance they are used to fix and decorate the crystal elements with colours. Like the Indian clothes, symbol for the tribes that were carefully decorated by women, every vase can be freely decorated with its own laces.
